
The WR-V (Winsome Runabout Vehicle) looks identical to the Elevate sold in India.AlthoughHonda has made some minor changes and has given additional features to the Japanese model. The WR-B gets an all-black dashboard as opposed to the tan and black cabin seen on the Indian variants. The SUV also gets different seat upholstery and the leather inserts are missing. The WR-V also gets a bigger touchscreen infotainment system with physical buttons on the right edge, the Indian models get a 10.25-inch infotainment system with no physical buttons.

The WR-V also misses out on a single-pane sunroof and wireless charging. The WR-V gets Honda sensing ADAS tech which includes features such as a collision mitigation braking system, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, road departure warning and automatic high beam assist.

Talking about the powertrain, the WR-V gets the same 1.5-litre NA Petrol engine which puts out 119 bhp of power and 145 Nm of peak torque. The WR-V gets only a CVT automatic, while the 6-speed manual gearbox won’t be available. The WR-V also gets fewer colour options and the dual-tone shades have been skipped.

The new Honda Elevate is based on Honda’s Global Small Car platform and it measures 4,312mm in length, 1,790mm in width, 1,650mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. The SUV has ground clearance of 220mm and has a boot space of 458 litres.
