Fellow countrymen Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso are currently tied on fourth with 200 points, while Lando Norris is five points behind the two in sixth. The second place in the constructors’ championship is also up for grabs, with only four points separating Mercedes (392) and Ferrari (388). Behind the two, McLaren (284) and Aston Martin (273) are fighting out for the fourth spot. The last race of the 2023 season i.e. Abu Dhabi GP takes place over 58 laps of the 5.281-kilometre Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island this weekend.
